After School Snack Ideas For Kids!

School is defiantly back in session and everyone has hungry kids to feed after a long day of learning! :) I know sometimes it’s easy to just give kids some chips or goldfish etc…which I give my daughter also when pinched for time. However, these snack ideas I have are easy to make and a great way to mix it up for them and make them feel special after school. These snacks are also great to pack in there lunch because there are so many cool compartmentalized lunch kits these days! Here are a few I like to make :

1) Apples – sliced and cored ( I used a wine cap to do mine – yes : ) Topped with healthy peanut or almond butter and few semi- sweet chocolate chips!

2) Mini Nilla Wafers with Nutella inside make the perfect sweet treat! You can also spread on strawberry preserves or apple butter etc.

3) Honey Graham Crackers topped with light cream cheese and a drizzle honey mixed together and topped with raisins! This snack is so delicious I promise you your kids will love it!

4) Triscuit crackers any other healthy cracker you have and top with a slice mild white cheddar ( I keep a block of good cheese to slice when I need it ) and topped with a strawberry slice. Yum!!!
