Chocolate & Candy Covered Marshmallow Pops!!!
Chocolate & Candy Covered Marshmallow Pops!!!
Happy Friday before Easter everyone!!! I wanted to share with you a great and easy sweet treat to make for the Easter weekend! These chocolate and candy covered marshmallow pops are so delicious and fun to make, they are sure to be a hit on Easter!
Here is what you need:
Semi-sweet chocolate chips ( or milk chocolate )
Large marshmallows
Cake pop sticks or paper straws cut in half ( I used both to show you )
Sprinkles and any candy you like ( I used Easter colored Peanut M&M’s that I crushed in a zip lock bag )
Here is what you do, melt your chocolate chips in a glass bowl in the microwave ( only 30 seconds then stir the chips, then heat again another 30 seconds and stir – should be melted by then )
Then stick one marshmallow on each straw or stick and dip in the chocolate, I use a baking spatula to spread chocolate around the marshmallow evenly – then roll the covered marshmallow in the candy of your choice and set it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Then after each pop is done put the baking sheet in the refrigerator for an hour or more to “set” and enjoy!!!
Can I tell you these are so amazing I could NOT stop eating them and they were a hit with my 12 year old daughter of course!!! :)
I hope this post has inspired you to make some fun marshmallow pops this Easter holiday and please share with me what you did!!!!
HAPPY EASTER!!!!!
