Pumpkin Spice Rice Krispie Treats with Caramel Drizzle !!!!
I love Fall and I especially love anything to eat that has a pumpkin twist during this season too. My daughter Laila and I decided to make some pumpkin spice treats and to make them even more delicious we melted caramel candies and drizzled it over the top! ( why not? ) These are so easy and you can put your own unique spin on them – you could layer the caramel inside, or instead of caramel you could drizzle melted white or dark chocolate…the sky is the limit.
What you need:
6 cups Rice Krispies
3 TBSP melted butter
1 bag of 10 oz marshmallows
1 & 1/2 teaspoons pumpin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 bag caramel candies – add 2 TBSP water
Cooking spray – butter flavor
Super easy….just add the pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract to the melted butter and then add in the marshmallows .
After the marshmallows have melted stir in your Rice Krispies and then pour that into a shallow baking dish sprayed with butter flavor cooking spray and even it out by pressing it down with wax paper.
Next, add the caramels to a pot on medium heat with 2 TBSP of water and cook while stirring until it is melted. Then with a teaspoon drizzle the melted caramel all over the top and let sit for at least an hour to set.
When your Krispies are ready simply flip them out and on to a cutting board and then turn them right side up and cut them into squares.
