  1. In a large mixing bowl add the brussels sprouts, toasted almonds, apple and a pinch of salt and pepper and mix well and set aside.
  2. In a sauté pan add the turkey bacon and cook about 2 minutes on each side and then take it out of the pan. Next add the oil to that same pan and add in the red onion and cook about 2 minutes and then add in the vinegar, dijon mustard, honey and chop the turkey bacon and add that back in as well and whisk and cook it a few minutes to warm through then pour the vinaigrette all over the salad and toss well to coat.
  3. Check the salad for seasoning and add more salt and pepper if necessary and enjoy! I think this salad gets better the longer it sits and it is even good cold the next day! :)
