Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl add the meatball ingredients except the ground turkey and the sausage.
- Then mix all the ingredients together until fully combined mixed through.
- Next, add in the sausage out of the casing and the ground turkey and mix to combine. This is how I always make my meatballs and by adding the meat last you won't over- work the meat mixture and your meatballs will be tender and not hard.
- Then roll all your meatballs and make sure you roll them pretty tight so that they don't come apart in the sauce.
- Here is all you need for this sauce and it is so amazing it will blow your mind! :)
- Simply add the two jars of this sauce and 1/2 cup of the butternut squash creamy soup and mix to combine in the crock pot.
- Then add in your meatballs to your crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- When the meatballs are done I add some more of the basil for a hint of freshness and then serve!
- These meatballs are so delicious, perfect for the fall season and so easy to make!
- I served these over a protein plus spaghetti pasta and they were great but you could serve them as an appetizer for a party or over anything else you like!
