Green Beans with Lemon, Garlic and Parmesan

Ingredients
- 1 pack - 12oz fresh green beans trimmed and cut
- 1 tbsp light butter
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large clove garlic chopped
- 1 lemon zest and juice
- 1-2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper

Instructions
- Blanch green beans in a pot of salted boiling water until bright green for about 2 minutes. Drain and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process and then drain and set aside.
- In a large sauté pan on medium heat add the oil, butter and the garlic and cook about a minute. Next, add in the green beans and continue to sauté and stir cooking about 5 minutes. Then add in the lemon juice, zest and season them with salt and pepper.
- Top the green beans with some parmesan cheese and serve! :)
