Instructions
  1. In a small bowl add the cream cheese, garlic powder and some salt and pepper and mix well to combine.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small pan add the turkey sausage and cook until browned and set aside.
  3. Spray the bottom of the jalapeño halves with some olive oil cooking spray and then simply add some cream cheese to each half.
  4. Next, top the cream cheese with a few pieces of the turkey sausage and place them on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Then top each one with some Panko bread crumbs and a bit of parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake them at 350 degrees for about 22 minutes and then once they are done I like to turn on the broiler for a minute or 2 to make sure the bread crumbs get a little brown.
  6. These are a lighter version of the original and they are delicious even my daughter loves them! :)
