Lighter Sesame Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 boneless and skinless chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
- 2 green onions - scallions chopped
- 1 TBSP cornstarch
- salt and pepper
Sesame Sauce
- 2 TBSP low sodium soy sauce
- 1 TBSP oyster sauce
- 2 TBSP honey
- 1 teaspoon siracha hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger peeled and chopped
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 TBSP sesame oil
- 1 TBSP rice wine vinager
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds and more for garnish

Instructions
- In a small bowl, add all the sesame sauce ingredients whisk to combine and set aside.
- Next, add the chicken, 1 TBSP of cornstarch and some salt and pepper in a bowl and mix to combine.
- Next, add oil and chicken to a hot sauté pan and stir-fry the chicken for about 5 minutes until it starts to get golden brown.
- Then add in the sesame sauce and allow the sauce to simmer for about 4 minutes or until the sauce is thick and sticky.
- Last, transfer the chicken to a bowl of white rice and sprinkle with chopped scallions and toasted sesame seeds and enjoy!
