Mexican Style Shrimp Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 bag "easy peel" extra large raw frozen shrimp peeled
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper ( add more if like more heat )
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 lime
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

- In a small mixing bowl add all the spices and mix well to combine - then put shrimp in a large zip lock bag and add the olive oil to the spice mixture and pour over the shrimp and shake around to coat all the shrimp.
- I let them marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes but 15 minutes is okay too - marinate as long as you have want.
- Then in a sauté pan on medium heat add the shrimp and cook for about 4 minutes per side or until done and then take off the heat and squeeze the lime juice all over the shrimp.
- Transfer to a serving platter and add a side of your favorite salsa and enjoy!
