Pea Pesto with Basil
super easy
Ingredients
- 1 & 1/2 cups frozen peas - thawed
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Reggiano
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice ( optional just a little )
- salt and pepper

- This could not be easier simply add all the ingredients except the cheese and oil and pulse to combine- then add in the olive oil and cheese and finish blending until smooth.
- Make sure you check the pesto for seasoning to see if it needs more salt and pepper and then transfer to a serving dish and enjoy!
- This pesto is so easy and delicious and you can serve it with crackers or veggies- you can use it to top chicken or fish - use it over pasta as a sauce anything you want! I am going to post some of my favorite ways I use it for next! :)
