Savory Pumpkin Hummus

Ingredients
- 1 15 oz can Garbanzo beans rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup pumpkin purree
- 1/2 tbsp pumpkin spice cream cheese Philadelphia Limited Edition
- 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil more if needed
- 1 large clove garlic chopped
- 1 small shallot chopped
- salt and pepper

Instructions
- In a small sauté pan add the shallots, garlic, 1 TBSP of the olive oil and a pinch of salt - cook for about 8 minutes until tender.
- Next, add the pumpkin, garbanzo beans, cream cheese, sautéed onion and garlic , some salt and pepper and the rest of the olive oil to a food processor and pulse until smooth.
- Last ,check your hummus for salt and pepper and adjust the seasoning as needed and then serve! I serve this with organic blue corn chips and it is perfect for Halloween and fall!
