Smoked Salmon on the Grill

Ingredients
- 1 14-16 oz Salmon Filet
- 2 lemons zest & juice
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 2 large cloves garlic chopped
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
- salt and pepper

Instructions
- Take the large salmon filet and coat it with the oil, garlic, dill and salt and pepper and place in the refrigerator for a for 3 hours or however long you have.
- Prep your grill - light the coals and then take handful of hickory chips ( that have been soaked in water ) and sprinkle them into coals . Keep the salmon off the direct flame skin side down then brush on the Teriyaki sauce and squeeze the other lemon over the top- never turning it. The grill lid should be on with the grill with the vent open and over the the salmon to allow the fish to be evenly cooked/smoked for 15-20 min depending on level of doneness you like.
- This recipe is so good and healthy and it's perfect recipes for the summer weather. I serve this on a dish whole and then cut it into 6 oz pieces before serving and its a hit every time! :)
