Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta in water with a pinch of salt to package instructions and if using gluten free pasta like I did make sure you rinse your pasta and set aside.
  2. In a large sauté pan add in the olive oil and chicken and season it with the garlic powder, onion powder and some salt and pepper and cook about 10 minutes until cook through and then take it out and set aside .
  3. In the same sauté pan you cooked the chicken in, add the butter and flour and cook a few minutes to get the raw flour taste out and then add in the milk and whisk and cook about 5 minutes until the sauce can coat the back of a spoon. Then add in both cheeses and some salt and pepper and stir to combine. Next, add in the marinara sauce and continue to stir to mix everything until you get a pink sauce.
  4. Last, add the chicken, pasta and basil to the sate pan and stir everything together cooking another 5 minutes to make sure everything is warm and combined and serve! :)
  5. This is a perfect week night dinner and is so delicious and a hit with adults and kids. :)
